Description
My name is Andrea M and I am a female carer with a passion for providing quality care to those in need. With over 25 years of experience, I have come to specialize in a variety of care types, including live-in and hourly care. I have extensive experience working with clients who have advanced Cognitive Impairment, are bedbound or palliative care, suffer from Parkinson's Disease, anxiety, and depression.
One of the things that sets me apart as a carer is my ability to drive and having my own car. This allows me to provide transportation for my clients to medical appointments, social events, or even just a ride to the park for a change of scenery. I am well-versed in providing assistance with daily tasks such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and catheter care.
Outside of my caring role, I have a variety of hobbies that keep me grounded and fulfilled. I enjoy painting, walking, cooking and baking, fishing, and gardening. These activities not only bring me joy but also allow me to connect with my clients on a more personal level, finding common interests and creating meaningful moments together. I also prefer to bring my two well behaved Jack Russell dogs to work with me. They are either kept securely out of the way or are very good therapy dogs for pet lovers.
Above all, I am a caring, friendly, and helpful individual who is dedicated to helping others lead independent lives. It is my motivation for caring and the driving force behind the work I do on a daily basis. I consider it an honour to be able to make a positive impact on the lives of those I care for and am excited about the possibility of doing so for you or your loved one.
